Tabular Alumina

Tabular Alumina

tabular alumina is a high-purity sintered alumina with excellent thermal stability, low porosity, and high mechanical strength. it is an ideal raw material for high-performance refractory applications.

  Description

tabular alumina is produced by sintering high-purity alumina at temperatures above 1900°C, forming large, well-developed alpha-alumina crystals. with an al₂o₃ content typically above 99.2%, tabular alumina offers outstanding resistance to thermal shock, chemical corrosion, and mechanical wear.

thanks to its dense structure and extremely low open porosity, tabular alumina provides superior performance compared with fused alumina in many refractory applications. it maintains excellent volume stability and strength under extreme temperatures, making it a preferred aggregate for high-duty refractories used in steel, cement, glass, and petrochemical industries. tabular alumina is available in various particle sizes to meet different formulation requirements.
