  Description

High alumina refractory cement, also known as fireproof cement, calcium aluminate cement or bauxite cement , is a kind of hydraulic binding aluminate material widely used in high temperature applications. High alumina refractory cement primary raw material is bauxite. High alumina refractory cement is produced by mixing low calcium aluminate refractory cement clinker and high alumina cement clinker in a proper proportion and finally grinded into fine powder. Aluminate refractory cement has good high temperature strength, wear resistance and thermal insulation properties and is suitable to be used for refractory lining of some high temperature kiln and furnaces as well as high temperature projects which suffer long term atmospheric or rain erosions. High alumina refractory cement is also suitable to make insulation concrete and heat resistant concrete with lightweight aggregate.

High alumina refractory cement are usually used to patch or line furnaces and bond bricks or joints in high temperature applications. Calcium aluminate cement can also be used to make refractory mortar or concrete for the construction of cement rotary kiln and other industrial furnace lining.
