White Fused Alumina is produced by fusing high-purity alumina powder in an electric arc furnace at temperatures above 2000°C. With an Al₂O₃ content of up to 99.5%, it offers exceptional hardness, high melting point, and low impurity levels. Compared with brown fused alumina, white fused alumina is more friable and provides cleaner, more precise cutting performance.
Thanks to its uniform crystal structure and high chemical resistance, White Fused Alumina is widely used in demanding industrial applications where consistency, purity, and performance are critical. It is suitable for bonded abrasives, coated abrasives, surface finishing, blasting, and high-grade refractory materials. The product is available in various grit sizes to meet different processing requirements.
